Privacy Policy

BookMore ("we", "us") provides a booking and payments platform: an iOS app for business owners and an embeddable booking widget for their customers. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We do not sell personal information and we do not show ads.
Information we collect
- Business accounts. When a business registers we collect the business name, email address and a password. Passwords are stored only as salted cryptographic hashes.
- Business content. Services, prices, availability, products, booking form questions and widget settings the business configures.
- Customer bookings. When a customer books through a business's widget we collect the details that business requests: typically name, email, phone number, notes and answers to the business's custom questions, plus the appointment time and items purchased.
- Payment records. Amounts, currency and payment status. Card payments are processed by Stripe; card numbers never touch our servers. Offline methods (Zelle, Cash App, cash, checks) happen entirely outside our systems and we store only the booking's paid status.
How we use it
- To operate bookings: computing availability, preventing double bookings, and showing businesses their schedule, customers and revenue.
- To process payments and refunds through the business's connected Stripe account.
- To send booking confirmations, reminders and cancellation notices by SMS or email when the business has enabled them.
Sharing
We share data only with the service providers needed to run the product: Stripe (payments and payout onboarding) and, when enabled, Twilio (SMS notifications). Each customer's booking details are visible to the business they booked with. We never sell data and we do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
Retention and deletion
Business owners can delete their account and all associated data at any time from the app: Settings, then Delete Account. Deletion removes the business, its services, products, customers, bookings, payment records and settings from our systems. Customers who want a booking record removed can ask the business they booked with, or contact us directly.
Security
All traffic is encrypted in transit with TLS. Passwords are hashed with scrypt. Access tokens are signed and expire automatically. The iOS app stores its session token in the device Keychain.
Children
BookMore is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page and its effective date. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
